Death is not painful

Death is not painful, living is painful and magnificent and wonderful and delightful. I stepped into the other world today. Not on purpose and it was very brief but needless to say there is something so tremendous out there waiting for all of us.  My initial sensation was ease, then wonderment then joy. I came back laughing. Let me explain. I play on my aerial silks daily working on my strength and mastering gravity, flipping and twirling for the pure fun of it. Today was different today something happened after hanging upside down then flipping to a hang by my armpits. I must of cut off my circulation and passed out. This all happened so quickly that my friend who was also working out didn’t even notice.  I know it was only brief, but in my mind it felt like a week. I felt my self separate from my body. Superlove Superdome

Superdome Super Love Memory 2008 I was invited to teach yoga in the superdome. At that point I had been teaching for almost a decade and was honored and excited to be one on the many teachers invited. Eve Ensler the creator of the Vagina Monologues had wanted to turn the Super dome into a super love event in honor of her monologue productions 10 year anniversary. She chose the superdome because of the tragic events that occurred there during the Hurricane Katrina. The intention was to invite all those who survived the horrific catastrophe and bring them in for a new experience of love and nurturing. The wellness suites were filled with massage therapists and yoga teachers, aromatherapy, meditation and beauticians. The superdome was turned into a giant pink vagina. We got to be inside the walls, sharing love with all those who entered. My experience was profound. Traveling With Mama

  Traveling with mama, My intention was to take my mother on a trip. I wanted to spend some time with her and I k now she loves to travel. She’s 77 years old and in pretty good health. I thought the best way to spend days on the road would be in comfort and style. I purchased and RV knowing that she would be comfortable riding along in a cushy vehicle. The RV could also convert to a lounge area, where she could lay back put her feet up and enjoy the many hours driving.   Most recently my mother suffered from a fall that injured her hip and left her with a concussion. Even though she is in good spirits she has difficulty with balance and walking long distance is a challenge.   I arrived late May anticipating our travels would have us on the road by the first of June. I was waiting for my license plates to arrive from the dealer in Orlando Florida. Little did I know that the plates would not be showing up any time soon. My temporary tags were already expired....
