Words from a psychic.

As most of you know my beautiful 19 yr old daughter passed away just a few months ago. She was in a tragic car accident and died,( according to coroner), immediately on impact. The last few month have been so challenging to navigate. I have been searching for comfort and understanding and made an appointment with a psychic medium. It took 6 weeks to talk with her and I am happy I did, here are some of the words that came through. enjoy. side note: the woman has an adorable Australian accent and some of her expressions didn't make sense but I wrote them anyway. Who’s lost a child? I hear some one say, “I’m her child.” have you got, one in heaven? -yes-   Your girl is well, yet she went tragically She also said you didn’t have time to say goodbye to her. - no- So she’s come in today to tell you all about everything ok.   There’s a birthday coming up? I hear happy birthday – she just had her birthday- You all were around for her birthday? She’s ...

back to the nothing

Whats in the middle of the onion when you peel it? Nothing! Whats in the middle of each of us when you get deep enough? Nothing! This Nothing is the empty void we all emerge from, it is what we all go back to and it is inevitable. However we are in the time of the onion peeling so peel away. Each layer of this delicate skin represents a question or issue we enjoy playing with, my layer was about worth and value and the measure of success. I asked around for others to answer taking a pole of opinion, this is what I got. What makes a person valuable? The answers are all over the board. Mostly what people agreed on was that value can only come from the person. Each individual must determine his or her own value. The way to knowing this is through self worth the way to self worth is through loving the self. The way to love the self is through acceptance and looking inward for appreciation and acknowledgement. What is the measure of success? There were many answers ...

My Art

Image
Art is the soul expressing itself Movement is my art. I’ve been searching for years for my special talent, my own expression. All along its been right here with me. My body. I have discovered that when I allow it to move to music there is such a sweet connection to an inner power and delight. I have developed a love for the edge of what my body is capable of and a curiosity for what is possible today. It is so intriguing how that edge is constantly changing. I have learned to breathe into the corners of my movement and they stretch. I have learned to embrace discomfort, as I know resistance is the thing that will allow me to grow stronger. Acceptance is the most important part of this equation, being able to accept my whole self completely. Saying kind words to my skin and muscles and organs has allowed me to cultivate a special relationship with this miraculous vehicle I am living in. Every step I take is my art.

Magic ingredient

Image
The magic ingredient You There is so much going on at any one moment. We are all so conditioned to stay busy, productive, useful. Rushing from place to place, event to event, moment to moment. It all seems crazy and pointless until there is that one thing that happens that takes our breath away. That one happening, for some reason feels bigger than all the rest. The one glimpse into our true selves and that feeling of wholeness and connection. It could be anything, it could happen at any moment it could be as simple as a kiss or a beautiful landscape. What is it that makes that one moment so different from the billions of other moments? You. The real you the one that is divine and always connected the one that is all powerful and brilliant. The moment you step into the picture at the same time as the present moment the two intertwine and magic happens. You are the missing ingredient. Its possible to be completely in the present moment enjoying what it is offering. It is poss...

Bumping up against Barriers

Image
At first it feels disheartening, challenging and somewhat scary. Then I realize that it is up to me to stay open and feel my way through this new challenge that has presented itself. A part of me wants to shut down and give up and there have been many days when this is exactly what I did but not today. Today I feel strong. Today I feel connected. Today I know that I am here to expand who I am and feel the greatness that is already present inside of me. I breathe and feel the emotion. I keep my heart open and let it filter my experience. I shed a few tears and start to notice my body relaxing, I feel the emotion flow through me and exit. Leaving behind a new awareness. Leaving behind a new confidence. It is ok to bump up against barriers. I feel the support of the Universe, knowing that I am here to be in the middle of new and challenging scenarios so that I may learn who I really am and what I am truly made of.  Om Shanti~
