universal consistency

 There are some things that remain constant in this universe

One, the things we think about most often become our reality.

Two, we can only give what we already have i.e. We can only love someone to the depth and wholeness that we love ourselves.


Three, because of the nature of duality with all things having its equal and opposite our light will also equal our darkness.

Traveling With Mama

  Traveling with mama, My intention was to take my mother on a trip. I wanted to spend some time with her and I k now she loves to travel. She’s 77 years old and in pretty good health. I thought the best way to spend days on the road would be in comfort and style. I purchased and RV knowing that she would be comfortable riding along in a cushy vehicle. The RV could also convert to a lounge area, where she could lay back put her feet up and enjoy the many hours driving.   Most recently my mother suffered from a fall that injured her hip and left her with a concussion. Even though she is in good spirits she has difficulty with balance and walking long distance is a challenge.   I arrived late May anticipating our travels would have us on the road by the first of June. I was waiting for my license plates to arrive from the dealer in Orlando Florida. Little did I know that the plates would not be showing up any time soon. My temporary tags were already expired....

The Answer to the Universe

I woke up this morning and realized something spectacular.  The love I’m waiting for is me.  I remember hearing this years ago and at that point it had an impact however, as all things come and go, I completely forgot.  I’ve been wandering around this planet looking for my love, looking for my passion, looking for my purpose, and going to bed at night feeling empty, dissatisfied, sad.  Something shifted and this morning feels different.  I feel excited!  I feel alive!  I feel like singing to the world what a beautiful amazing day it is.  I remembered.  How completely simple and profound. I wish this feeling on everyone. To love~  The next part of this equation is the most important.  The Love I wish to experience can only come from the love I give.  The love I express wholeheartedly unconditionally is mine to keep.  The expression of Being Love, allows me to completely dive into my purpose my pas...

surrender 2015

Surrender to agree to stop fighting, hiding, resisting, etc., : to give the control or use of (something) to someone else. Surrender is the intersection between acceptance and change I am in a place where I realize that I need guidance. My ego wants to bail on my life and my heart knows I must stay. I ask my self “what am I doing?” constantly and the only answer I have is be patient, surrender. This word   “surrender” has been showing itself to me over and over so I decided to look into it. What does it actually mean to surrender? Not just surrender to another’s will but to the divine. Surrender to the universe to my higher power. What does this actually feel like? So far what I have found is by simply stating my intention out loud by asking for assistance and allowing for inspiration and insight, I immediately feel my body relax.
